Blue, Green, and Shimmer Eyeshadow

Today was a cross between a need for bright colours and a desire to play with my eye shape. I have been sketching out different ideas and strategies to make eyes appear rounder and more doe-eyed. So far I have a couple liner tricks and shading ideas that I think will really round out my almond eye shape.

On my eyes in particular I found it really hard to achieve a round shape because of how deep set they are. I did a couple of the more subtle tricks with this eyeshadow look to practise them, but mostly this look is about the great green and blue combo!

I plan on doing a much more dramatic attempt at rounding my eye shape on another date when I have more time, and have practised a couple of the tricks a little bit more. So without further ado here is today's LOTD! :D

High Heeled Hump Day

Who doesn't love a good shoe talk?

Imma talk about all kinds of shoes every hump day from now on! If you aren't already a shoe addict I have made it my mission to make you one :D Just check out this week's pick of drool worthy shoes!

I know winter is nearing it's end, but snow is going to be on the ground for at least 2 more months where I live sooo boots are still in season! I love these boots! Just enough heel to elongate the leg, rounded but not too rounded toe, and the coolest little glitter/punky edge on the ankle.

Navy/brown/Creamy more Beautiful Blue Makeup!

I promised to do a blue in a more natural wearable way so here you go! I finally found a way to do it that I was really happy with. I decided that to wear blue in a more everyday way you really need to utilize the navy shades more than the bright or frosty blues.



At first I wasn't sure if I was going to just love this look because I have been doing a bunch of toned down looks and I really wanted to do something with flair, but I promised it so I felt obligated. Obligation or not I will wear this again.



The creamy highlights mixed in with the darker navy colours really accented and shaped my eyes beautifully. I totally recommend this look to anyone wanting to branch out into blue eyeshadow and feeling a little timid about it.

Blue can be wearable and if your were feeling timid before I hope you arn't anymore. There will be lots of more blue looks on the way, because I just so happen to be obsessed with blue of any shade right now. So if these two looks weren't up your alley there might be one on the way that is!
